What Repair PDF does

Repair PDF sends a damaged document to the repair service and attempts to rebuild a readable PDF from recoverable structure.

Choose the right tool: If the file opens but is password protected, use Unlock PDF with the known password instead of repair.

Important limitations

Can I repair several PDFs?

Yes. Batch items are processed independently so successful files remain available if another file fails.

Should I use Repair PDF for a password-protected file?

No. If you know the password, use Unlock PDF. Repair does not bypass encryption.
