What Pages Per Sheet PDF does

Pages Per Sheet creates an N-up print-layout PDF by fitting source pages into a grid on each A4 output sheet.

Choose the right tool: Use Merge PDF to combine complete documents without shrinking pages. This tool changes the print layout by placing several pages on one sheet.

Supported workflow

  • 2-up, 4-up, 6-up, and 9-up layouts
  • Portrait or landscape A4 sheets
  • Adjustable outer margin
  • Sequential page order from the source PDF

Important limitations

  • Output sheets use A4 dimensions.
  • Source pages are scaled to fit grid cells and may become difficult to read at higher N-up values.
  • Custom page ordering and crop marks are not implemented.
