What Change PDF Page Size does

Change PDF Page Size places each original page onto a new standard-size sheet while preserving its aspect ratio and centering it within the selected margins.

Choose the right tool: This changes page dimensions, not file-size optimization. Use Compress PDF when the goal is a smaller file.

Supported workflow

  • A5, A4, A3, Letter, and Legal presets
  • Portrait and landscape orientation
  • Adjustable margins
  • Centered aspect-ratio-preserving fit

Important limitations

  • Custom dimensions, crop, bleed, and stretch-to-fill are not implemented.
  • Content is scaled to fit and may become smaller when large margins are selected.
  • The tool creates a new PDF instead of modifying the source file.

File handling and privacy

Selected files are processed in your browser and do not need to be uploaded to PDFStack servers.
